When designing our new home I really wanted it to

When designing our new home I really wanted it to feel like it had been lived in, so I’m filling it with a mixture of old and new things! 🤍 I found this vintage French drapers table in the window as I was driving by one of my favorite antique shops. My carpenter sawed off the original feet and we added 8” white oak feet to get it to counter height. The final touch was staining the new legs to match and adding a honed marble countertop. It was a labor of love that is for sure but worth it to add character to the kitchen.

It has been a day y’all. While loading the kids

It has been a day y’all. While loading the kids in my husbands car for school I left my phone on the roof and somehow it managed to stay on the roof until he tried calling me and he heard something vibrating on the roof. It was also pouring down rain and somehow it survived! When I couldn’t find my phone I realized my Apple Watch was missing too (so no way to communicate with anyone) and to top it all off I have been wearing my underwear backwards all day! At that point all you can do is laugh! 🤣🤣🤣
